The hike to Happo Pond is a beautiful and family friendly hike on Hakuba’s largest and most popular resort, Happo One. Oide Park is a scenic spot known for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. Hakuba offers several spots to enjoy the river and its natural surroundings. One such spot is located next to Hakuba Bridge on the Matsukawa River, where you can easily access the water. There’s also a dog run along the river, providing a great space for pets to play.
Lake Aoki, located in the northern part of Omachi, is a tectonic lake known for its stunning clarity. The water is so transparent that you can see as deep as 9.8 meters.
